Is Appollo Nida a liar or what?

I just watched Phaedra and her ex-con husband on Bravo Live with Andy, and he asked Apollo how he met Phaedra. Apollo stated that he met her in 1996 while he was driving on the interstate on his way home from work and he followed her. Well...it seems that the math does not add up here!!! Apollo was born in 1978, so he would have been 15 or 16 years old (in high school), and Phaedra is 7 to 8 years older then him. Hmmmmm? GIVE ME A BREAK!!!
