All people are atheists?

Just an interesting truth ... all people religious or not, likely do not believe in some or all of the following gods, Baal, Zeus, Wotan, Allah, Yahweh, Appollo, Mithras, Thor, ... those considered atheists generally believe in just one god less than the most religous person.|||Don't forget the Flying Spaghetti Monster, who makes just as much sense as Odin or Yahweh.|||atheisism means the complete denial of any god. so therefore Christians etc cannot possibly be atheists, simply from definition|||Atheists do not believe in God. He's a good kid.|||It's funny you mention that. Did you know that many early Christians were killed for "atheism" because they wouldn't worship the Roman emperor or the Roman gods and goddesses? But a "theist" is one who believes in God or some other god I suppose. If you put an "a" in front of some words in English, it means not, so an "atheist" is one who does not believe in God or any other god. "Muse" means "to think." "Amuse" literally means "to not think." I think Americans should spend more time thinking and less time not thinking. Don't you?|||Absolutely amazing to see how some people just can't get their heads around the idea that they are, by definition, atheists about all the other gods.





This is hardly doctorate-level logic, but some here just can't hack it: 'I'm not an atheist! I believe in God!'





It would be so much nicer if it wasn't specifically necessary to reason with those very people.





CD|||You might also note that everyone is born an atheist and doesnt learn of Gods until they are indoctrinated into a certain faith...|||Atheist means "without gods", so, essentially, everyone is an Atheist, it's just that some are delusional freaks whose feeble minds are nslaved by imaginary creatures.|||I was actually thinking that all people are atheists because atheist means without (a) god (theist - derived). There is no god, so everyone is without god.
