My 8 years old brother is being diagnosed that his one kidney is functioning only 9% & other one is 91%....?

I have a brother age 8years old use to have pain in stomach diagonsed by doctors of Appollo Chennai told that his one kidney is functioning only 9% and the other one 91%. Is it possible and also is it cureable....please help|||no. its called a transplant.
